Why CUET?
CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is your key to get admission in central universities and prestigious institutions of India. It is a national level exam and is conducted by NTA. Through CUET 2025, you can take admission in your desired course anywhere in the country.

1. Registration

First open the site: cuetug-ac.ntaonline.in or cuet.samarth.ac.in
How to register:
- Click on “Registration” or “New Registration”.
- Now fill in your name, birthday, parents name, gender, nationality, mobile and email.
- Write current and permanent address or tick the box if both are same.
- Create a strong password – it should include capital letters, numbers and special characters like @, #, %.
- Choose a security question and enter its answer too – it will be useful in future if you forget the password.
- Enter the given security pin and then ‘Submit’.
- Now you will have an application number and password.
2. Profile confirmation and OTP
All details will be visible — name, address, contact —
- If there is any mistake, click “Edit Registration” and correct it.
- If everything is correct, click on “Send OTP”.
- The OTP will come on your mobile, fill it and submit it.
- Now your registration is complete and your application number has been sent to your mobile and email.
3. Filling the application form
Now login and open the form and fill different sections:
- a) Personal details: Fill in name, date of birth, parents’ name, gender, nationality, and identity card details.
- b) Contact & Address: Fill in current and permanent address, mobile and email correctly. This is necessary for future communication.
- c) Category / Quota: Select SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PWD as applicable.
- d) Education Details: Fill in your 10th and 12th scoring and board details. Keep your scanned marksheet ready as it will have to be uploaded.
- e) Choosing Course / Test Papers: Select the university or course you want. Choose the subjects (e.g. Maths, History, Biology) accordingly.
- f) Review & Edit Form: Check all the details carefully. If necessary, make corrections using “Back” or “Edit”. Then click on “Proceed”.
4. Upload Documents
You need to scan and upload the following documents:
- Passport size photo (JPEG/PDF)
- Signature (scanned)
- 10th and 12th mark sheets
- SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable)
- Identification proof (such as Aadhaar, PAN, or passport)
Ensure clarity of photo and signature — blurry files may lead to rejection.
5. Application Fee Payment
The fee is to be paid based on your category and subjects selected:

- Click on “Pay Now”.
- Make payment by card / net banking.
- Once the payment is done, download the receipt and save it as PDF.
6. Download the application form
As soon as the payment is complete, you will see the link to ‘Download Application Form’.
- Download the form, take a printout of it and keep it safe.
- This form will be useful during admit card and counseling.
7. Admit Card Download
The CUET 2025 admit card will be available on your login page 3 – 4 days before the exam.
- Download it by logging in with your CGPA number or application number.
- Don’t forget to take a print out and take it to the exam center.
Some useful tips
- Keep all the documents scanned and ready before applying.
- While filling the application form, fill in only as much information as is in your documents.
- Complete the application before the last date, the system may slow down when the crowd is less.
- If any mistake is made, use the edit option — there will be no need to pay extra fees.
- Apply in the evening or night time so that the site does not freeze due to the crowd.
